A tracker tile was found by a woman in her suitcase after a night out at a restaurant with her friends, this incident has been all over the internet. So the woman encourages others to stay alert when attending functions. Sheridan, an artist in Texas, USA. She wanted to share the story with others hoping it will keep someone safe on night outs.
After spending a night at a friend’s birthday party Ellis was shocked to find an unusual object in her handbag. When going through the object she identifies it as a tracker tile. After identifying what it is she quickly took off the battery of the tracker tile to avoid herself from being located.
The next day, she posted a “public service message” on TikTok, urging other women to “remain secure” by checking their own purses and handbags.
Most of us don’t check through our bags on a regular basis, it’s not unusual to find something you’d forgotten was in there concealed there months later.
The video has gone viral on TikTok for over 722,000 views.
She said in the video, “This weekend on Saturday, I went to dinner with a group of friends for this girl’s birthday; if you know me, you know I don’t generally carry a handbag, but I did on Saturday since we had decorations and everything for the table.
“I’m cleaning out my bag at the end of the night and come across this – if you don’t know what this is, it’s a tile. It’s essentially a tracker that individuals attach to their keys and other items.
“It’s not mine, and I have no idea how it ended up in my bag.
“Don’t worry, I quickly removed the battery, but anyway… check your handbags and keep careful out there.”
She got a vast amount of comments regarding the tracker tile thingy.
