Meet Shauna Rae, a 22-year-old lady who is regularly mistaken for a kid because of her small stature. This is owing to the adverse effects of overcoming a rare kind of brain cancer as an infant.

The little girl Shauna was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was only six months old. She was subjected to a life-saving chemotherapy procedure. When she was administered chemotherapy, her pituitary gland was injured, which prevented her from growing normally again.
Currently, she stands at the typical height of an 8-year-old, which is 3 feet, 10 inches tall.
Aside from the fact that she still looks like a kid, the young girl has overcome her obstacles and wants to be treated as an adult, despite her appearance.
Recently published teaser for TLC’s new docuseries featured Shauna Rae as the star. Basically, she claims that if we were to take a look at her, we would believe she’s just a regular little girl who does typical little girly stuff with her hilarious, crazy family.
However, the fact is that she is no longer a child. In reality, she’s a 22-year-old woman confined to an 8-year-old body. Despite the fact that she is unable to physically mature, she is yearning to be recognized as a grown-up. She’s focusing on developing her own sense of identity.
Shauna’s program is scheduled to launch on TLC on January 11, 2022. It chronicles her day-to-day challenges, with a particular emphasis on her attempts to live as an adult despite seeming like a kid. Drinking in a bar, getting a tattoo, or going on a blind date is far more difficult than the typical person imagines.

Because this is a TLC series, it would be absurd to anticipate a scientifically based investigation of her cancer-induced condition as part of the plot. No matter how magnificent it seems to be. I’d suggest watching the first episode of Shauna’s case to get a feel for it.
