Australia is the site of the recent discovery of the “cryogenically frozen” corpse prop used by Sylvester Stallone in the 1993 film Demolition Man. The artifact was first found at the charming antique shop in Katoomba, New South Wales (NSW), known as Katoomba Village Emporium.
Instagram user Bea Bellingham made the original startling discovery of the twisted rubber prop. After the discovery, she posted a photo of it on the social media platform. She captioned the picture on her Instagram story claiming she was antiquing in Katoomba hunting for strange stuff and posted it there. She was unable to comprehend what the heck it was.
He has hardly changed in 30 years
It’s not a really favorable likeness
It’s surprising the Golden Globe winner hasn’t purchased the dummy himself
Adam Howes, another Twitter user, also shared photos of the horrifyingly deformed Stallone-like rubber figure.
The description on his photo said that in the 1990s, replicas of the cryogenically frozen figure played by Sylvester Stallone in the film Demolition Man could be seen hanging from the ceilings of Planet Hollywood restaurants. Furthermore, he had said that a recently defrosted John Spartan had been discovered in a remote region of Australia.
The Mirror, a British newspaper, reports that the movie prop used by Sylvester Stallone can be purchased for £3,500. For those considering purchasing this, it works out to roughly $5,950 Australian dollars.
The science fiction film Demolition Man (1993), starring Sylvester Stallone, Sandra Bullock, and Wesley Snipes, was a smashing success. Almost 30 years after the release of the film, the famous freeze-dried figure used in the production has made its way to Australia.
