Just like humans, animals have feelings. We’re constantly reminded of how genuine an animal’s love can be. The tale of Abigail, the rescued kangaroo, is a perfect illustration of that.
All of the rescued kangaroos in one Australian sanctuary are enjoying their newfound freedom and looking for food. But, one kangaroo out of them spends all of its time hugging its rescuers. It’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see.
How it all began

Abigail may appear to be one of the most loving creatures ever, but her tale wasn’t always so happy. She lost her mother when she was only five months old, but she was fortunate enough to find her way to the Kangaroo Sanctuary, where the volunteers were eager to help the sad kangaroo.
Life at the sanctuary
Abigail has spent the majority of her time since that day expressing her thanks to her saviors, and the emotions are palpable. Abi has been a resident of the shelter for almost a decade, yet she never fails to express her gratitude to her rescuers.
Kangaroos are known to have long memories, and they establish very deep ties with their human carers, as the employees at the Kangaroo Sanctuary reveal.
Chris Brolga, the founder of the non-profit Kangaroo Sanctuary, created it in 2006 after learning that the nearest animal rescue facility was 1,500 kilometers distant. Outside of Alice Springs, there is a sanctuary. It gives kangaroos with specialized care and offers orphaned kangaroos a one-of-a-kind treatment.
Why is it important to provide a safe environment for kangaroos?
It’s required to keep kangaroos safe. Sanctuaries like this one are making a genuine impact, and we can see how much a helping hand may mean to another person. Abigail expresses her gratitude in the most beautiful way conceivable, and her genuine love has truly enchanted us.
