This is an interesting story about a mum with an unusual delivery in her sleep. A mum came up with a video saying, “my daughter delivered herself.”
The woman gave birth while her sleep. So she reveals her story, “My Daughter Delivered Herself.”
TikToker @beyondboss_ encouraged fellow users to share their shocking delivery stories, and one mother certainly delivered. “This one was built for me!” Amy Dunbar said in response to the video.
Amy revealed in a video that has been viewed over 630,000 times that she was given an epidural after 12 hours of labor to provide her some essential sleep – and pain relief.
When the nurse came back to check on her, she saw that she’d experienced a large contraction while she was sleeping, thanks to her monitoring equipment.
“Not even a minute after that, the nurse was waking me up saying she’d lost the baby’s heartbeat on the monitor, but she added ‘Don’t worry, flip over and I’ll find it, baby simply probably shifted,'” she revealed.
“Doing what I was told, I moved the blanket and was turning over and I was like ‘There’s something going on’.”
“My baby was in the bed. She had delivered herself while I was asleep. That big contraction the nurse saw was her being born.”
She went on to say in a video: “So I pulled back the blanket and she was curled up on the bed, and things just escalated from there. ‘We need aid!’ my father exclaimed as he came out into the hallway.”
“And then all of a sudden there were so many doctors and nurses in the room. And she wasn’t crying.”
The daughter was perfectly fine when the nurses took her to see her health status. Then Amy said, “It was really scary but it turned out OK.”
The video has received 115,000 likes and 2,200 comments since it was released.
“Baby, it’s like I’ll do it myself,” one joked.
“Already a strong independent woman hahaha,” one commenter said.
While a third remarked: “Yes, could you kindly write down anything they provided you so that I might ask for it? Thank you very much.” Finally another commented, “This is what people don’t understand. No need to scream push, push. If the baby is healthy and mom ok leave them alone. Baby WILL come out!”
