When a strange sex experiment went tragically wrong, a guy required emergency medical attention.
The 30-year-old guy had stuffed six kidney beans inside his penis with the intention of ejecting them during ejaculation.
But instead, they became stuck in his urethra and needed specialists to remove them.
He’d done it previously, but this time he increased the number of beans, which resulted in a log jam.
The man even used tweezers to try to remove them.
A team of medical specialists led by Margeaux Dennis at Sparrow Hospital in Michigan highlighted the unique kink in a case report.
Dennis noted the location of items in the urethra has fascinated urologists for years.
“We present the case of a 30-year-old man who for sexual pleasure self-inserted six kidney beans into his urethra,” his team wrote.
“By using bedside procedures, conservative attempts at removal were unsuccessful.
The patient underwent cystoscopy and urethral foreign body removal during surgery.
They stated that no more wounds occurred and all beans were finally removed.
“A 30-year-old guy arrived to the emergency department with problems urinating,” they said.
“Further investigation revealed that he had placed six kidney beans into his urethra earlier in the day for sexual pleasure, with the intention of expressing the beans during ejaculation.
“He went on to say that this was not his first time doing this exercise, but that he had never attempted to use that many beans before.
“Using a mix of graspers and basketing, each bean was taken separately.”
“The last bean was discovered within the bladder. This was likewise basketed and removed.”
The team explained a typical motive for inserting items up the penis is a sexual activity known as “sounding” or “cock-stuffing”.
As part of this strange habit, fetishists even put rods down their penis.
However, the hospital experts cautioned that if these occurrences go wrong, there is a significant risk.
“The lack of access to healthcare may also put patients at risk,” they stated.
“According to one account, a patient attempted to alleviate bladder retention by inserting a 40cm long home pipe since he lacked health insurance or adequate funds.”
