Iranian Music Streaming Site Removes Female Singers From Album Covers

These pictures are essential in shaping how we feel about a given release. However, Melovaz, an Iranian music streaming site, is dissatisfied with the aesthetic quality of some of them. They’ve decided to have the album covers modified because they’re worried about the possible negative impact the album covers could have on their fans. They have removed every single woman who appeared in the photographs that were selected to be used for the cover.

Izzi, a Twitter user, learned about this incident and tweeted what he had discovered. Many Melovaz users have a common interest in discovering the albums that have been the subject of the most absurd censorship.

This user shared his thoughts about the incident in an interview with Bored Panda. He was especially bothered by the changes made to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Shallow from A Star Is Born. Izzi continued, saying that they had edited and removed Gaga entirely but not Brad and that they had done a bad job of it. Furthermore, he added that it was completely unnecessary.
