The stunning photographs and the video footage (which you can see here) shows the whale flying up through the sea water close to an unwary fishing boat named Baja Sueno. “Whale is huge!” exclaims the narrator. “I’d certainly need some new underpants if I’d been the fisherman,” the photographer who caught the extraordinary close encounter told the media.
In compared to the creature, the fishing boat appeared to be extremely tiny.

Douglas Craft, the photographer, shot photos from the porthole of another boat at an upward angle, making the sea breaching whale appear much larger. “I went below deck to photograph via a porthole at the water’s edge. Douglas told a news agency, “That’s what gives this beautiful view of gazing up at the whale.”
Douglas Croft, a photographer, was the one who captured these incredible photos.

Kate Cummings, a whale watcher, also assisted the photographer by capturing footage of the whale breaching in action. “It was enjoyable recording this video,” the whale watcher told the reporters. The whale had already breached many times, far away from the fishermen.
When whales breach numerous times, however, they may also be moving in a certain direction while beneath, gaining momentum for the next breach. Because the whale was going in that direction, I assumed the next breach would be near the fisherman, and it was! I didn’t anticipate the whale and the boat to be so perfectly aligned.”
Humpback whales are 25–30 metric tons (28–33 short tons) at maturity.
Their length varies from 12–16 m (39–52 ft). The humpback whale is well-known for breaching and other unique characteristics, making them highly popular among whale watchers.
