This is the heartbreaking story of two best friends. Liz Diamond has been Laura Rufino’s best friend since school. Unfortunately, in 2014, Liz was diagnosed with brain cancer and later died. As if it had broken Laura’s heart, she was worried about Liz’s four daughters, who are now single. So, she decided to adopt them.
Laura didn’t think twice about it and recruited all four of her best friend’s daughters. Both the husband and the daughters welcomed them openly. A campaign from YouCaring in New York, New York, is preparing to fund the Rufinos to form a new extended family. They have already surpassed $ 80,000.
Laura promised her friend that she would take care of her daughters in an emergency. She kept her promise by adopt them.
Liz passed away in April 2015, but her best friend took steps to keep her children from getting lost.
