After Contracting a Flesh-Eating Insect as a Result of a Botched Filler, a Woman Falls in Big Trouble.

After a botched filler caused her to get necrosis, a flesh-eating bug, Leah Morton, 26, claims her nose went white and ice-cold as the flesh died and rotted away.

She says that she almost lost her nose after injecting with a beauty filler.

The procedure is thought to have caused Leah Morton to develop a clogged blood artery, which stained the tip of her nose black. The bank employee wants to alert others about the procedure’s possible hazards.

“I’ve had filler in my lips before, but I decided I wanted to get the treatment done on my nose because I’ve always despised the form of my nose,” she explained.

She further says, “I wasn’t told of any risks or repercussions, it was just injected straight into my nose. I went home and that evening I felt so much pain and pressure on my nose. The next day I checked my face in the mirror and the tip of my nose was pure white and ice cold to touch.”

“I messaged the lady who did it for me the next day to see if this was normal and she told me she wasn’t worried about it at all and it looked fine.

She says, “They took a thermal image of my nose and towards my lips, it was white and cold without blood catching it. They expressed concern that if we did not move quickly, I would lose the tip of my nose and the upper lip. It seemed like I was in the middle of a nightmare. I was afraid to death.”

She says that she couldn’t imagine herself without a nose and a lip. Now her condition is getting better, but she fears for any scars would remain.
